truman oliver parks

Hey, guess what! I survived labor and it only took me a week of recovery to have the energy to make a blog post announcing that Truman Oliver Parks has arrived.

truman oliver parks

He was born on August 14th at 10:59pm, weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. My labor was 19 painful hours, jparks' arm was almost broken once, along with a finger, I totally confused an anesthesiologist, and had a breakdown 15 hours in when I decided that I was done and was walking out the hospital. Ah, good times.

  2. Want to know the REALLY weird part? The night you had him I had an inexplicable dream in which you shot me in the foot and turned the blog community against me. (Um, wha?)

Congrats, woman. It's all over now (the pregnancy, that is, not your life)! Let the fun begin =)

  10. Congratulations! Did anyone tell you after delivery that it is very common for a mom to decide they are finished and leaving at the 9 cm mark? This tells your midwife/nurse/dr that you're almost ready...your almost was another 4 hours, but almost nonetheless!
